so i used to have a 500 watt amp installed that used 4 awg wire. i recently got a job at best buy and decided that 500 watts didn't do it for me anymore, so i jumped up to a 2500 watt amp. appropriately, i got a 0awg amp kit for it.

i checked install rates, and even with my employee discount, installation would run me around $30-$40 even though i really just need to have the trim panels removed.

i've tried removing one by myself before and ultimately ended up bending it.

so are there any tips, tricks, or tools that you guys have found to work pretty well?

also, what's the best way to cut 0awg wire?

thanks

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

my trim panels are held in by plastic clips. i used to pry them off with a flathead screwdriver but ive done it so many times that i can just take them out using just my hands. and for 0 gauge, use a razor blade but be careful to not slice your finger! lol

you just need to buy a set of body door panel poppers, the cheapest I have found that are decent are like a set of 5 at harbor freight for like 5-10 bucks well worth the investment especially if your working on other peoples vehicles that it matters if you discolor the door panels or even worse break something.
