Diggin' this man!!! Hey do you have a high output alternator? If so, what kind?? I can't seem to find one anywhere! What size engine is yours? Mines the 3.7L.

Thanks man, and no I dont. I just have the stock Valejo alt on it. :/ Im hoping ill get SOTM so I can sport a Mechman! ^_^ Lord knows I need one!

Dude I Checked with Mechman, Ohio Gen and DC Power today on alternators. Mechman was cheapest and most powerful at 270amp/165 at 700rpm large conversion for $549. DC Power was next with a 270 Valejo for $589 plus $30 shipping. Hope that helps! I may order my alternator later this week or early next. I'll let ya know how it goes.

So since Mechman is cheaper, then they suck? If that's true, then Meades Tahoe must be a piece of shit! Hell, he's got four Mechman alternators running his 30kw Tahoe. I think a Mechman will do great for my 4kw system!

I'm not saying DC Power is crap! BUT if they're rated the exact same power and Mechman is cheaper, why shouldn't I go with Mechman??
