  2. okay so idk if chris wants teh subs to be known yet butweve been going back and forth about what subs. we were gonna build 2 old soundstream xxx motors but we decided to go with 2 brandnew DC m2xl 15's (eventually on a 9k) but until then theyll be on my RD 3250 at .5ohm till we get the electrical straightened out.
  3. we did a test fit with the box. it fought us to go in but we got it in their. and my girlfriend came over and wrote on chris's truck
  4. 3 common port walls means the u use 3 side of the box and add a port wall to make the slot port.

  6. its just old school... round motors have the same motor force just with less material, more cost effective
  7. go onto audioque website and look at the stestom amps they have small ones that make big power!
  8. you don't see too many drawing relate to car audio. It's different but cool as hell!
  9. sorry to say but after box rise and voltage drop you wont see that power ever... but as said above get a design from ray.

  11. it's all about idle amps that will put the strain on the motor when the RPM's come up it won't be as much as an issue. But make sure the belt has enough wrap and tension
  12. yeah. they're around 28mm but you gotta remember xmax isnt the only thing that matters with a sub. im just building a sub that'll take a good amount of power and do good in a 4th order.

  15. birch is easy to work with if u want to spend the money. if not make sure to predrill all the screw holes in the MDF otherwise it will split. trust me the 15 dollars more for birch is well woth it
  16. i took a CAD class in highschool so i know all the work u put into this.
