andym85
i know on your site it says the btl comes in a 10" size, but i thought i remember some problems with it so you all quit making them as 10s. im basically wanting to know if i could get a 10" BTL that was built for pure spl? Guest MegaloManiac
you dont ever want to tune low on the 10" btl, if u are even able to get your hands on one. tune high, and only burp em' the geometry of the sub will not allow it to be used for daily at all. andym85
yea, i was thinking about competing next year since i will be done with school. i was plannin on competing that year while i save up for some extremely large system. i was just gonna use it for pure burps only. Guest MegaloManiac
i suggest you get a 12" if need be. it will be more forgiving Edited September 21, 2007 by MegaloManiac
andym85
thats they gay thing with meca...the way they put u in classes is based on your cone area + (amount of fusing * 10). im trying to stay in S1 which has a rating of 0-750. so one 10" = 78.5 of surface area, which would allow me for only 67amps of fusing. (67*10=670....670+78.5=748.5...which would keep me in the S1 class)...i really dont wanna bump up a class...meca and its stupid fusing rules...i guess they have their place though Quote i likes me some audio stuff...
