I know I have mine in halogen housings, which is not good, but I don't get flashed cause I re-aimed my lights a bit, still lets me see about 2-3 times farther, and a lot wider, no issue with the cops either. I have the 55w 8000k which will look like 6000k due to it being 55w over 35w.
