ShadowWolf9
I've been getting a lot of information from an acoustics engineer on one of the Honda Forums I frequent. He insists that it is a must to baffle your door speakers. He details the installation here: http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/audio-visual-electronics-10/installing-door-speakers-sound-deadening-more-32679/ Quote 2009 Honda Accord EX-L System in the works: Pioneer AVH-3200DVD (check) Hertz Mille MLK165 (check) SAX-125.2 (check) AA Havoc 12" Ported (check) SAZ-1500D (check) 1/0awg Knu Kolossus Flex (check) XS Power D3400 (check) Stock 120amp Alternator SS Damplifier Pro (check)

ShadowWolf9
I don't think he competes. Maybe I've just had it instilled as a necessity since he always claims it to be important. Likewise, I'm in the mindset to completely remove my rear speakers as he says they conflict with the sub, making less bass response entering the cabin. Not sure if they're entirely necessary. It's one less thing to upgrade, too. I'm still running stock speakers so I'm sure it will be night and day either way. When I install them I wanted to run new speaker wire. Not sure how difficult that could be. Playing with the headunit for new accords is an utter nightmare. ShadowWolf9
Alright, well I've found a shop that looks solid. It's about 1hr away in CT. Since my last post I've purchased the SAX-125.2 and bought a XS D3400 off of a user here along with 12ft of Knu wire for my big 3. I planned on re-purposing my 4awg wire I have now on my SAX-125.2 while using the following for my SAZ-1500D, but I haven't bought it yet. http://darvex.com/store/pc/Stinger-HPM-0-Gauge-Amplifier-Wiring-Kit-2p66.htm Would I need to purchase RCAs with this amp kit as well? Also, is there any additional wire I need when installing the battery? Do I simply need a ring terminal on one side of the wire? I just want to make sure I have the required materials so I don't get overcharged with the shop's supplies when they install.
