TeejayBee Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks man yeah i have know idea how ima get it all to fit but i have an idea lol but as soon as its all good to go with buying stuff yall will know lol gona try and find a used amp to help make it easier for me but idk yet, we'll see
Blue Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Well, im running the sundown 3k with the stock bat up front and a batcap 4000 in back, 2 runs of '1/0'. When i was running it at 1 ohm it would drop to 13.5 ish crusing down the highway(never clamped what actual wattage was though). But idle on the other hand....yea, be careful. Its a 130 amp unit I believe on these engines. Wired at half ohm it drops like no other though. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks
TeejayBee Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 yeah ima stay with 1 run dosnt need two for 4krms . and like i said ima do a d3400 under the hood first then go from there prolly two d3100's in the back that stock alt will be fine but i dont listen to it when im stopped unless im competing lol
TeejayBee Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Well ima get some measurements today and start getting box ideas for this sub to make sure it can work in my car and be able to find the batts and amp in the back with it, i was also thinking about amps last night and was saying doing maybe a aq2200 i know why go to a smaller amp but like stated before with not wanting to do an alt upgrade a 2200 seems more ideal, and like i was talking to beatbox ima do a d3400 under my hood then most likely get two more im open to your guys input on this
