LilTeddyP Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2012 Not much of an update since it has been too effing cold to do anything but I got the extra door panels I need and a bunch of fleece blankets they had on sale at menards to get to glassing. I just need warm weather and the resin. Trying to decide what to put in the doors. I was originally going to do 3 sets of Type S comps up front and 2 sets in the rear cause they are cheap, but now I'm thinking the new RF Punch Pro mids. I had a line on 3 sets of T2 comps BNIB for STUPID cheap, I just don't know if they are still available. If they are, that is what I am going to do but still thinking of a fall back, I really like the new Punch Pro mids. Ordering a Dual Alt bracket in a couple week when the tax money comes in then deciding what I'm doing with the subs. I picked up an 01 Bravada, the 24s from beatbox, and a 99 SSEi with some motor work done to it (she gets ). I am in the process of ripping out the while front end of the Bravada (because I hate the smarttrak) so that soon will be 2wd and should shave about 175 lbs, and maybe more when the trans is changed and the tcase is out. with the 24s, 2 18s, amps, batts, deadener, a family a 4, I need to cut all the weight I can. LilTeddyP Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 My car and my truck (I'll be doing a build in the car as soon as my buddy puts my alarm in, I won't put anything in there without it) When I got the truck, I got it stupid cheap cause a friend of mine (a woman) smoked a curb and messed up the ball joints, wheel bearing, cv axle, and rim on the drivers side, so instead of fixing an AWD system that I hate and would never have the oportunity to use when its a summer vehicle, I pulled the front end, put new ball joints and wheel bearings on both sides, and made myself a 2wd. But you cant do it without this, its nice having a step dad that is a machinist.
