works good havnt tried the rusto. but nevertry and put multiple coats on at one after another when it drys it will have cracks in it had a friend that wanted to try it out so i taped off a logo on a over head console light and told him to spray it and he put tomany coats on and made it look cracked

Okay, thats because he put too many coats on...if I am reading correctly, you are saying that you can't put on multiple coats or it will crack? Not true...you can't put one single coat on, or it won't look right...like I said, 3-4 coats, one at a time...you have to wait for the previous coat to dry before you put another on.

probably should of worded it different what i meant was you cant just keep spraying it its the darkness u want have to give it dry time

wet sand your lights with 1500 grit and clean them super good. Then do thin light coats.

should u wetsand before or after or both? i did my taillights a year or so ago with vht nightshades. I just cleaned tails with soap and water then wiped with alcohol on a microfiber towel. It looks good except it has a matte finish even after multiple layers of gloss clear. Should I try to wetsand and plastic polish like they are now or sand them back down to red, wet sand and polish to get the natural gloss back then use the rustoleum with gloss clear and a final wetsand and plastic polish?

What I do is go NUTS on the clear, like 5-7 coats at least. Then once it's dried, I wetsand it 800/1000/1500/2000, then hit it with rubbing compound, then polishing compound. Comes out really glossy and "flat" meaning there's no orange peel.
