I haven't used it (only seen it) and can't compare it to anything else, so I really can't say much. TeejayBee Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 i used it on my blazer make sure you wet sand your tail lights well if you want them to look smooth and glossy. but dont put more then one coat on at a time and dont be scared to do light coats at a time or it will look cracked
NickJones Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Yeah i used this on my jeep, turned out really good. Just make sure you prep the surface right and as said earlier if ur coats are too heavy it will crack and u have to sand it off and do it again. But IMO its the way to go.

Bakerman Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I use VHT on my vehicles. Make sure you do simple light coats, one at a time. Put a light coat on, and let it sit in the sun for about 5 minutes. I always put 4 coats, and once my last coat is applied, I will put some heat on it. My apt. has baseboard heaters, so I turn them on and put the lights in front of them...but you could turn an oven on real low and let them sit in there for about 3-5 mins. This gives it an extra glossy, shiny look in the end. Now, these are the finished lights on my focus... And these were on my tahoe. They are tinted, but this just shows you that after 4 coats, the light still shines through really good.
robbie Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 works good havnt tried the rusto. but nevertry and put multiple coats on at one after another when it drys it will have cracks in it had a friend that wanted to try it out so i taped off a logo on a over head console light and told him to spray it and he put tomany coats on and made it look cracked
