LancerBen
I wanna build a box for my 03 lancer. I was thinking a box for 2 10's or just one 10' What dimensions would I need for the box? Where can I find some decent 10's that aren't expensive? I'm new, so thanks.

I'm new, so thanks. first you need to determine what airspace your subs need. the amount will differ for a ported box and a sealed box. next measure what space you have to work with then use a box calculator to find out how big your box will have to be. but if you do ported you have to figure in port volume. and you also have to think of woofer displacement http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/box_wizard.asp. as for the 10's amazon crutchfield or search the sale threads on here Edited March 27, 2011 by bass_stalker Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. blownengine
Two tens shouldnt completely drown out the stock speakers. Or just drop in some new speakers. I have been running a pair of $40 Pioneers in my rear doors for two years now. They are loud and haven't quit on me yet.
