concrete is too heavy... but if this box flexes too much then its a possibility

Yeah.., perhaps I will let you all know what is going on..

- Rebuilding the old box with a 5mm plate around it

- Battery box with 6 Trojan 8 volt cells and then another 10 on top.

- 350amp 16-19 volt variable alternator just for starters..

- 2 amps putting out 23kw [rated power at 18 volt] between them.

- 4 x 15 inch subs

- 3 6.5 inch mids and 2 tweeters per side up front.

Gear pictures/models/specs etc will go up when we get it all :)

Strength and space, one 5mm layer of this grade of steel is comparable to at least 80mm of mdf. We dont have room for even another 18mm layer!

Steel cost me nothing, and working with steel is easy. The steel also doubles as the brackets on the edges.

Okay we have been busy, more work to come on sunday and next tuesday..

Basically there will be 4 6.5" mids per door. They are Hardcore mids and will be receiving 640wrms rated power a door. soo around 1300wrms for the frontstage :)
