trafficjamz
So here we go... I need 2 6" ports 15" long which would tune me to 32hz roughly with 10 cubes after port and sub displacement. Am I right or should I shut up and keep mowing yards.... Dont forget this is a wall! Thanks guys point me in the right direction please.... corona_jeff
aero is more eff. so you really only need 10-12 sq per cu when using them compared to 14-16 when using a slut port
trafficjamz
Well got my subs ended up doing them sealed due to space issues. For future upgrades cause I will!!! My question is from going to lvl 2's to lvl3's given the same power and airspace how much would I gain? matt402
depends on the subs & the boxes efficiency, there really isnt an answer, just gotta try it... any pix of the lvl 2 setup?
RAM_Designs
Why is DC suggesting such a small box for it is my main question. Qts isn't low, Vas isn't low...just kinda makes me wonder why. trafficjamz
Alright guys here's the problem I'm running into ROOM for 8 12's vented I can do them sealed no problem but vented it's extremely difficult to put them in a wall due to me wanting to keep the back seats if I was to switch over to 6 12's vented in a wall still with the same 2 kicker 1500's would I increase? Or should I keep the sealed box? It's loud but I know it cam be louder for 8... I'm torn here btw they are dual 4's Which would make the amps due less power at 2.6 ohm Quote 1999 GMC Jimmy 24" alloy tech rims alpine iva-d310 8 dc audio lvl 2 12's 2 kicker 1500.1's soon to be DC : ) 2 kicker 450.2's soon to be DC also! 4 optima yellow tops 1 DC power alt 270 amp All stinger HPM wiring
