bumpinTL364 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Hey all I'm looking at the Dayton SA100 amp to use for a set-up in my room. I see that there are two different types of inputs (low and high respectively) one having RCA connectors and the other with banana/bare wire connections. The low level has just inputs for right and left where as the high level has 2 pairs of negative and positive input connectors and also says "from amplifier" above them. What's the difference between the two? Also I see there are low and hi outputs for speakers with RCA and banana/wire outputs respectively in addition to the wires on the other side of the plate that go to the woofer. What's the difference between these outputs? Can I wire my speakers directly to this amp or are these like pre-outs to be run through another high/mid amp? Also how can I know or figure out how much power these channels put out? myveryown07 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 the high inputs are for people that don't have rcas. you should be able to run two speaker wires to it(right/left) going in and then have another set going out. if you have the rcas available use them it will give you a better sound.
