TheyDontWantMusic Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 this is a 1/4 wavelength box btw. its pretty much a transmission line that was designed with the car as an extension of the line, so it would play down to 20Hz. box is about 14cuft, if it was a ported box, tuned to 22Hz with the same port area, the box would have to be twice the size as the port would be the same volume as the box!
