At the time of the build i really had no knowledge of car audio i just wanted something that was somewhat load so i took it to a shop to get it done. I dont know too much about the box because they built it and never gave me any info on it but enough talking lets get to the details. Car: 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 5% Tint on the back windows and there was 20% on the front two until the cops got me. Soon ill get it retinted with 5% on the front two as well Stock Exhaust Stock Alternator StreetGlow Undercar Neon Kit Neons and Strobe Lights Inside The Car Equipment list: Alpine IVA-W505 6 - 10" Kicker CVR 2 - Kicker ZX750.1 1 - Kicker KS 6502 Component Set Up Front 1 - Kicker KS 690 Coaxial Set In The Rear 1 - Stinger 1 Farad Cap 2 - Stinger 0 Gauge Amp Wiring Kits Optima Red Top Stock Alternator Big 3 Upgrade May be a couple more things i forgot but to the pictures now Now before you guys rip on me for having a cap..yes i know i shouldnt have one. I didnt research a lot before i went ahead with this system and its going to stay there until i do a rebuild. I would like to start on a rebuild beginning sometime after Christmas. I want to start buying stuff slowly and once i gather it on start on the build. FaTbOy911 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Nice may need another pair of mids with all those 10s Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.
