Fat mat works fine and is most likely the best bang for your buck! In our area with temps above 105f we have never had any issues with it falling and or not sticking. That said team Flex Issues has it in several vehicles whom are at or near state and national records. The chemical makeup you want to stay away from is Bitumen.

I got the rattle trap, which is the step above fat mat, and have had no problems. It is sticky even in cold weather, stays on very well, and the smell goes away after a day or two. Its less than half the price of all the other guys, and like said before if needed you can double up. Used in 3 different vehicles and had no complaints thus far!
