Arnold55 Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Can anyone tell me what chord i need for my avh-p4200dvd to play music videos off my ipod? There was an AV cable at the apple store, would that work?
BanginOnABudget Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 The brown RCA recepticle on the back is Video In, you would need to get the ipod dock connector thac splits into VGA cable (yellow, red, white), connect the yellow to the brown RCA on the head unit, and connect the white and red leads to a 3.5mm jack to rca female-female (2 female ends) and plug that into an aux line in, but i still dont think that'd work, im not sure if there are decks that support video out of the ipod, what i'd do is sell your deck, and get an ipad. that may just be me tho. im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt.
