mlstrass Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 I recently built a vertical clam with AQ's. Started with 8 subs and redid it and dropped down to 6. Does not appear to be much angle on the baffles, what's the rear opening measurement and terminus opening? I had horrible cancellation on the first set up with 8 subs. And it had a VERY narrow pass band, like 30-37Hz. New set up with 6 is better and I have a around a 2.4:1 ratio of front to rear opening, old one was around 1.5:1 Ideally the total area of the front opening should be = or > then the total cone area of the subs. I'm at about 85% and it seems to be ok, but I could see more being better. I just didn't have the room. GL with the build. I'll check back for more pics...

Mechanical failure floppy sub knockage on at least 2. well...as i see the level 6 is compared to a lamborghini.....but a corvette? i was thinking more like a chevy volt. its cute and new and "hip", but i would just rather stick my dick in a blender.........
