Ported Box Help… Need Advice!

Hey, I Plan On Putting 2 15" Audioque SDC2.5 Subs In A Custom Box I’m Going To Build To Fit In My Trunk. (7.5 Cubes) The Dimensions Of My Box Are (17" Height - 34" Width - 27" Depth) (Can’t Go Any Bigger Due To Dimensions Of My Trunk.) I Don't Have Any Room For The Port In The Front Of My Box Since The Fronts Only 34" Long.

What I Was Wondering Is If I Could Put The Port On The Back Of The Box Because There Are No Subs In The Way. The Depth Of The Box Will Be 27" So I Have Lots Of Room To Extend The Port Back For Proper Tuning Freq. (35 Hz) (Sub Depth Only 8 " So I Have 19” To Play With)

I Wanted To Put A 6”x15” Port On The Right Side Of The Back Of The Box.

My Question Is, Will This Work? Or Does The Port Have To be On The Front or Side Of the Box?
