noles850 Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 im gonna be running 2 solobaric l7 15s. and gonna be using upwards of 2500 watts. either with 2 1500 or 2 1800 watt amps or 1 3000 watt not sure on either mechman is lookin a lil better on price tho. and obviosly is the smd choice. whats everyone personal opinions or experience with them

Besides, it depends on what DC you get (sp, xp, etc) because of the voltage rectifier, voltage regulator preset, etc. I would personally support an SMD supporter, but that's just me... noles850 Posted April 8, 2011 Author Report Posted April 8, 2011 ok well ive had a hundred diff system just never had one 100% correct and thats what i wanna do this time. from what im seein mechman is the one im leanin towars myself. but whats the difference in the xp,sp etc. mechman only shows one option a 270 amp n dc has all the other optioned ones xp,sp but the plug on most are on the wrong sides. and they dont look like the bracket fits the same as my stock and arent these suppose to be direct fit. with no mods.

Like for my engine I couldn't find it listed on their site so I emailed them and they said they could make one for my particular engine. It would simply require a TON of work to re clock alternators for a certain vehicle. Things always go out the door to spec of the factory unit so everything is a direct fit.
