Questioning a small touch up on box

Well my box I am going to make is going to be 2.4 Cu, which my subs need 1.2 ea, tuned to 35.7. Well I know that If I where to add bracing like silicon or glue on the inside corners, it would have some displacement on my box. Well I noticed if I increased my depth of my box by .25, I would gain .07 in Cu and drop to 35.2Hz, I would think this be better since one, It is closest to 35Hz tuning. Second, the extra .07 could displace all the bracing, instead of have 2.4 come smaller. What do you guys think on this modification instead of my original plan.

Edit: forgot to adjust port to new depth length, so its actually .04 bigger and is now 35.7 Hz, normal was .75.

My new question would be, how much in total displacement do you think there would be in the box from adding the silicone or something, because I can easily add that much of displacement by .05 with ever .25" to my depth. Along with it, it drops my Port tune down about .02-.03 Hz each .25".

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha
