My clamps of the 3000 show right around 3000. Number wise it is a little less but nothing audible. And many hifonics amps do rated.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

The newer hifonics do rated not the old ones.

spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power

where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

fuck.. you just throw out a companies name like that..

have you clamped it to see how much power it puts out? Does your voltage even stay at 14.4?

But is there even a need for 3000 watts? What are the enclosure specs? And what is your budget? And electrical upgrades?

My box right now is huge for my btl as I do not have enough to fully power the btl. 4 cubes at 32 Hz. My voltage stays at around 13.8-14.2 volts. At idle never drops below 13.5. I have a 200 amp alt. Tsunami 1/0 AWG big three and to the back to my kinetik hc800. 8 gauge speaker wire... etc. And no I haven't clamped it, but at the time it was a cheap amp for the "power" and I haven't heard many good stories of my version of amp doing rated power, mostly just negative before you jump on my balls. Thats why I posted this thread, for advice.

Um...I've clamped the older bxis with good results. Hungry little pieces but they do rated. What size btl and what voicecoil configuration?
