Certainly you will still need a HU as an iPad alone is not going to have the processing and channel outs that you need (and a CD player is needed if you ever want to compete). You will have to get creative with relocating the A/C and special controls. I can't wait to see the hids I am honestly worried about the sunroof lol it already hates the 1 18" I gotta get some alpha damp on the roof ASAP lol I'm thinking about doing a video build log and try to get some more subs and views on YT Stay tuned If you find a good way to secure the sunroof, please post. I have an 08 Hoe w/ 1 21" IA Warden on 3k and I almost lost my sunroof a couple of weeks ago. My entire truck is deadenand and its still bad. Looks like I need to finalize my box design I plan on hittin every car show I can this year, so I have a lot of upgrades in mind. I don't have the funds to do them all right away but they will get done, and done up right! I hate them but the guy I did it for loved it! Guess its a hit or miss, also becareful of the police they no like hid's wow now this just shows that smd isnt just any forum.
