dkahns51
Since most 18's I see require 6 cubic feet.. I was wondering if i could get away with putting 2 in there? OR do you think I would be better off going with 2 15's instead because 10 cubic feet would be about perfect for those. Autoinnovations
youll have less after sub and port displacement. the simple answer is 15s. on the other hand sometimes creativeness can gain you a few feet

mr.p
that is very doable but you have to have the correct design and subs. Subs must have enough motorforce to move in 4cubes of airspace after all the displacement of the port bracing subs and wood. dkahns51
hold on do you have 10 cubes before or after port/sub/bracing displacement ?? No, the only thing i put in the box design was the Port so far. I am still researching everything i need to know and this isnt going to happen untill i figure out what the hell I'm doing. But i used the box design calculator that is on this website (torrez i think?) and according to my measurements of my hatchback I have about 10 Cubic feet to work with. uhoh_45
so just throwing this out there with my 1 18 apxx its in a 8.7^3 cube gross box which leaves me with roughly 6^3 cube net after port and bracing and sub so if i was you i'd stick to 15s Quote R.I.P!
