whats the point? I understand the lvl 5 coil is better but why not just get the lvl 5 sub?

Big difference is price and weight. It increases power handling on a already great sub

I believe he is saying that with the Lvl 5 coils, it allows them to withstand more heat from being played, which in turn since they can take that give them more power handling.
