I have had to put down my dog in the past, and I have also had my dog stolen (She is still missing) and there is not a day that goes by where I don't think about her, but it does get easier as time passes. I actually had to make the phone call to make the appt. to put him down on a saturday. They were going to put him down monday morning. He passed on his own Sunday afternoon. It was a hard time for me becuase he was my dog. My boy was in a similiar place, couldn't see, couldn't stand anymore, stopped eating (actually his last bit of food was a greenie, that he LOVED), lost bowel control... This is making me miss him now. GOOD LUCK!!!
