THEMERQ Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 i just recently bought a velleman hps10. i set the gain today with a 0DB 1Khz tone for my mids and highs i also checked my HU for clipping, so right now everything is set for clean power. i set it with no speakers connected. OK so the gain is now set with no clipping so does that mean i can then apply any load to the amp and everything will be clean power? do i have to set the gain with the speakers connected?

I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
