active crossover simulator

Anyone used this?

2,500 hz wouldn't be high enough of a crossover point for tweeters though would it? Just looking for a cost effective way of dedicating one channel of my amp to be a tweeter channel.

all it is, is a passive cross over, for 25 you can build your own 4500-5500hz high pass. I'm not good enough with x overs to recommend values but some one on here should be

So a 6500 could possibly work depending on my tweeters frequency response, I think I'm going to order a set, I'll keep you guys posted. Going to try it on some shitty tweeters first if no smoke i'll put in the good tweeters. Thanks guys.

you won't smoke tweeters by having a higher xover point, you might have problems blending with mids though

Not so worried about smoking them with a high xover point, but I'm worried about having too low of an xover point. (correct me if I'm wrong)
