dog24fret Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 A noob question about head unit popping when I change tracks or from input points.I checked all grounds connections also the component speakers connections.With car running I have zero digital audio noise with volume half way.The head unit is Sony 550UI really don't have a clue how to get rid of it.It also dose it when volume is turned from whatever the volume settings are to zero or from zero to one or two.The amp dose not make any difference to the sound there is no turn on thumps so lost.Thanks. Skullz Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 The H/U itself may have a broken ground or a bad board inside causing the issues like your describing.
