Liquid cooled? That is awesome and something I have never heard of before in car audio. Any more information about this?

Bazooka was the only company i know of that offered a liquid cooling kit for thier amps. it was call C.H.I.L. They offered prestone antifreeze for the system. When we started building the car, we modified some of the CHIL system and found a fluid that wouldn't conduct electricity. it was perfect for what we wanted. Some of the old school Precisions Power amps were converted for liquid cooling since they had a hollow tube down each side of the heatsink.

When we decided on Bazooka, we went to thier facility. After a tour, they showed us thier test bed for the liquid cooling. seeing the results myself, I knew it worked. So we used it in the car for two different installs. I even started using some of teh CHIL components on the last install that was going in the car, but the install was never finished. Hurricane Ike saw to that.

Thanks for the extra information on that. I have never heard of any company offering anything like that. I must say that is pretty awesome and different for sure. I can see that there would be some good advantages with liquid cooling. I just wonder why it didn't become too popular?
