Upgrading Mids/Highs Over Summer.. Suggestions?

Recommended Posts

In my experience you can get amazing performance out of pretty much anything. It all has to do with how you use what you got (thats right, that rule applies to MORE than just subs and enclosures). Seal off your doors, put your tweets in pods, get the correct crossover/bandpass points, and you will be set.

Tweeter pods would be essentially an enclosure specifically for the tweeter correct? Same applies for mids I'm assuming?

If you seal the doors then the doors are the enclosure for the mids. And more or less on the tweeters.

i resolve to be a nicer moderator.

Just replaced the rears with HCX570's and WOW!!! What a difference. Night/day better than the Boston Acoustics. So clear, so precise. Can't wait to upgrade the fronts with some HSK 130's!
