RyanJ Posted April 28, 2011 Report Share Posted April 28, 2011 As you guys can tell by the title, I was wondering what are some good workout routines to get overall stronger and maybe even a 6 pack. I'm currently 16, and I'm pretty athletic due to playing competitive basketball since the age of 9. But currently, I haven't played basketball for a while, and I feel like I want to get stronger, and even a 6 pack. For the 6 pack, I was going to follow this video every day. When I was a freshmen, according to my P.E. teacher, I had 7% body fat, 120 lbs, and 5'7. Right now, I'll say I have around 8-11% body fat, 125-130, and 5'8. Haven't grown for shit. :/ Anyways, Here's the video: So if anyone has any tips on how to get stronger / 6 pack, I would like to know. Thanks! The easiest way to get a six pack is... eat healthy as shit and have your bf% go down. My coach explained to me how good posture affects your abs, since your using your core to support your body it works out the muscles constantly. Not a fitness guru so I may (and probably will) be wrong lol. Quote Bassless once again. I do not know everything about working out, but I like a lot of the workouts used in p90x. You should be able to look them up, and do them. MORE noticeable. I can say I have a 2-4 pack, but it's not super standing out, but you can notice KIND of. I want it to be super noticeable. I don't want it to look like I'm on steroids or any of that, just good. Haha. p90X is great, but I'm not going to lie, I did a few of the ab workouts, and I got so tired of the guys voice, it wasn't even funny. Haha so I quit doing that. But I also need to eat healthy which is really hard since I'm a teenager. But, yeah I know what you mean. I'm also going to stop drinking soda, eating mid-night snacks, and all of that. At one point, I could predict every thing he was going to say and I got so annoyed, I couldn't concentrate on working out. Haha, but yeah, I'll def check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.
