Robert8252
You're using a lot of terms without knowing the real meaning and also don't completely understand how this stuff works. I won't get into rise and all that fun stuff. But short and sweet. If you have steady voltage and set the gain correctly yes at 14.4volts a aq2200 will absolutely put out 2200watts rms clip free at 1ohm. The clip light only comes on when guess what? YOU ARE CLIPPING THE SIGNAL AND FRYING YOUR SHIT. so gains set correctly no that light won't be on and you should always worry about clipping if your stuffs worth anything to you. D-train-13k
i dont understand. it seems like this guy isnt reading anything we say. am i the only one who feels this way? we tell him a little flickering is okay. but solid red is bad. why does it matter how long its solid red. its still clipping the shit out of the signal. just set your shit with an oscope and only mess with the bass boost if the red light is solid. otherwise your fine. your making this way more difficult than it has to be Quote The IrishmanCheck out my build hereXL 4th order wall build logIn Progress:alpine cda HU4th order Bandpass2xl 15's1- ab 400.1 (gonna be two hopefully)4- Crescendo 8's2- xts crecendo supertweeters 2 sq super tweetsMb quart 4.125Mechman 270a alt1- xs D27003- xs XP3000 4- odessey pc1700seller feed back threadhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/136418-d-train-13k/
