samslowp1s Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Ok, my question is "Is their a way to raise impedance on purpose?" I know it is a weird one but this is why. I have 2 4OHM subs hooked up each to its own channel of a rockford prime 150-2. It is only stable bridged at 4OHM but when I tried to bridge them it didn't go into protection. It is not supposed to be stable at 2Ohms bridged so I assume it is seeing a higher impedance. Is their a way to actually raise it closer to 4Ohms? It played but did get a little warm. I figure, the closer I can get it to 4Ohm the more stable it would be. If this seems like a Noob question, please don't make too much fun of me. LOL I am just wondering about this and didn't find the answer in the forums.
