Anyone ever use "Quality Power" alternators before?

Looks like it might be the same quality of http://powerbastards.com/ but most people say for the price it probly does not do rated. Then again, I dont know of anyone ever using either one. Good luck. try it and let us know

And what is it that they upgrade that takes a 180max alternator and get a little under double? have you clamped your new alternator?

I don't know, what is it that any of these other garage mechanic shops do to take an alternator to 300 amps in the same size as the original? The car is still at the shop until tomorrow (but successfully installed as I'm told), we'll see.

My guess is they rewire delta to wye, causing a huge jump in max output at higher rpm but dropping idle amperage. Will the stock case be able to dissipate the additional heat? Doubt it. I know for a fact that their numbers on their alts are measured cold and that they lose about 5-10% power once they get hot (driven for a few minutes).
