wafsman Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 So I am planning on upgrading to a pair of FI BL15's in the near future and I will be building my own enclosure for it, I used the RE Audio box calculator to come up with my design. From the way the picture is the box will be sitting on it's back so the speaker and port will be facing up. Will have these two side by side in the trunk. I just wanted to double check and make sure that the numbers the calculator are giving me are accurate. Quote
wafsman Posted May 4, 2011 Author Report Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) Yeah, so this thread would totally help if I posted the pic, huh? Here you go, sorry bout that. Edited May 4, 2011 by wafsman Quote
wafsman Posted May 4, 2011 Author Report Posted May 4, 2011 Yeah, I think I got the box specs down, I'm just wanting to make sure it's all good before I start. Quote

Skullz Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 Are you building 2 boxes for those cause one box is way too small for both subs together? Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

wafsman Posted May 4, 2011 Author Report Posted May 4, 2011 So if I put both speakers in one box, would I still be aiming for 12-16 in of port area per cubic foot, or am I going to double it with having them together? Quote
