Made some changes to Barney, dropped down to 6 subs and also swapped out some of the front stage mids/tweets. Hope to test it out this weekend... mlstrass Posted May 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 I was there for both shows last year as was most of Team DOA. They changed up the classes last year and did 1-2, 2-3, 4-8, and 8kw+. Funny as the shop had 2 vehicles with 2 memphis 4kw's in them, so that was the new 8kw cut off as before it was 3kw+. Think they were tired of DOA winning all the time as we don't run any stuff their shops sells, so it doesn't help them to promote the shop which makes sense. I would guess around 25-30+ cars, solid turn out and with the MECA stuff this year I'd guess at 40+ cars since there's a decent amount of MECA competitors in the area that did the Hammond show last month.
