Fi BTL Question

a 18 would be tooo biggg..

its a 12...

oh and i have a a box made for a 15" sub..its pretttty big and ported

and i dont want to spend more money..can i just cut a square bigger than the 15" hole...then cut a 12" or hole in the square..and glue the square on top of the 15" hole..?

well i cant just "make it" -__- i pay to get them made lol..

i dont have tools..or job right now..

currently going to school full time and have a lil business online selling jerseys and beats by dr dre.

sooo trying to save as much money as possible..

plus gas is a b**** right now!!!

If money is seriously as tight as you propose OP, I don't think the BTL is the route you'd like to go. Only because no, your enclosure will not work efficiently. A great sub in a crappy box = crappy performance. Not to mention the cost of a real 2,500 watts + amp on top of the cost of electrical upgrades to provide the current for 2,500 watts and any damplifier to maintain sound control...you're in the deep end. Buying wood for the new enclosure would actually be one of the cheapest things on your list.

Scratch the BTL and look for either a Q or BL if you're set on FI. AA as well.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
