Kush Killer
Surprised no one has mentioned putting SA 8's in some custom doors/kickpanels. One for each door... yeah i guess that could POSSIBLY be a option... im really jsut hoping that im able to do 4 8"s under the rear seat in a ported enclosure Quote ............................................ Kush Killer
Max dimensions for use under the seats? lol well thats the thing i havent been able to get out there and measure it my self ( i know i know) but, goin off "pre-build" sealed enclosures.. the largest ive found was a down firing, 2 chamber (2 10"s r 12") with 1.6cubes per chamber... the demensions off of that say to be.. 52x16.75x10.75. but i know the front side of the seat is obviously tall than the back side so the top side of enclosure slopes donward... BassHead143
so any one wana help with a ported enclosure for 2-4 SA 8"s? Well im in the process right now for building a box for 4 sa8s in my 92 silverado, im going to lift the seat 2 inches. The Width is 62'' The Depth is 14.5'' The Front Hieght is 11.5'' The Rear Hieght is 7.5'' Fiberglassed the bottom and going to add another baffle to front. Going to have 2 4'' aero ports in the middle with 2 45 going opposite ways behind subs. port displacment is around .30-.35 Sub displacment is .40 I filled the enclosure with water and got about 3.2 Cubes so with all displacments i should have 2.4 - 2.5 cubes net internal Tuned to 34 hertz. Note not done yet this is mid build of my box, just trying to help.
