Now do you want a personal experience I ran my 2500ds at 1 ohm. 290 amps draw or so. .5 500 amps of current draw. guess what happens when you cut it in half? Even more current draw. Do you have the electrical for say 650 amps of draw? no? guess whatq happens then? magic smoke. All that for another 1000 watts.
