Hifonic ZX7500, any good?

I got a Hifonics ZX7500 today off of a trade and was wondering if anybody had ran this amp before. I compared it to my 2 JL 500/1's on my AQ HDC3, and it just didnt sound that great. Not the type of low bass and power compared to the JL's. I was running the Hifonics at 4ohms bridged, which is supposed to be 1000RMS. Does anyone know what the actual output of this amp is, if it is under rated or over rated? Or just why it doesnt have the power and sound that the JLs have. Im not a big user of Maxxsonics stuff after I had a crunch amp and swore I would never buy a maxxsonics brand piece of equipment again.

PS. It says when bridged it will run at 4 ohms but doesnt state 2 ohms or 1 ohm. Will this amp run at 2 or 1 ohms and would it be safe if I ran it at 1 ohm?

that amp is stable @ 4ohm bridge only. 2ohm stereo does 500rms each channel. To me, the 500 jl sounds a lot better. had the jl 500/1 at one point when a friend have the zeus.

I do not have a birth sheet, they dont send one with this brand. That is, at least, what I believe they do.

Ya, I know what the specs are but I didnt know if the amp would run at a load under what it says, like running it at 2ohm bridged, I just dont know if this amp can or cant handle a lower load than it says it can

i wouldn't run it daily @ 2ohm bridge... amp doesn't have strong power supply. Especially a hifonic 2 channel... now if we are talking about old school cheater amps, that's a different story for the hifonics.

that jl is regulated power supply, so there is a good chance that after rise and voltage drop it did more then the Hifonics did...and those Hifonics should do about 80% of rated. I wouldnt advise 2ohm bridged. I ran a similar Hifonics amp at 2ohm bridged and although it would play, after 20-30min full tilt it would protect for about 30 seconds or so

ya, I want to run it at 1ohm because my HDC3 is D2 ohms, but I feel like it still wouldnt be as good as my JL 500/1s. I need to sell my JL 450/4 and buy a AQ or Sundown amp so I can run at 1ohm and have the power and quality like JL. Or some other amp along those lines.
