TIG
I would think the old model would do just north of 3k at 2 ohms and right at 5k at .5 ohm on strong electrical with clipping. Im running mine .5 at comps and 2ohm daily. At .5 I fear for the safety of sub haha. I wish I had the extra 300 when I bought this amp cause I would have loved to have one of the newer amps but I couldnt afford it. I may sell this one off some time and get a better amp but for now I like it and it does what I need it to do. Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too.. I'd only listen to it if I got some hotass bitch in my car and shes gonna suck my dick.
AI James
meh i rather see some clamp results myself like pics or video. I just feel more comfortable about ratings that way.

I have a stock 132 amp alt and 1 yellow top (under hood) and 2 red top Optimas would that be enough juice to keep that running properly? No, that amp the new version requires 380 amps of current on full tilt. The old version with single inputs would need around 300 so it is still a no, optimas and stock alt won't cut it. That will run a 2200 okay, but not the best. da99jeep
See what i have is 6 - DD1512's and right now im running a cheap LA 3000.1 and I know its no where near the potential that the DD's can do, so im trying to find somethign with a shit ton of power that i can run without having to really do to much of a battery upgrade. AMI CUSTOMS
Shit ton of power and not upgrading electrical already means you need to slow down a minute. Those two just don't work together, you need power to make power, plain and simple. You would be better off going to a 270 amp alt and two group 31s plus underhood battery, big 3 and a few runs of 1/0 wire and you could run the 3500d.1 otherwise it isn't going to last long.
