1991 Honda Accord SE. Im thinking of just doing the top of the trunk and the bottom, but the top of the trunk has all the holes in there to reduce weight. That leaves me confused because I dont know how to put it on with all the holes in there; I guess just cover them all.

You can actually use less than that and achieve great results.

If you need any tips or pointers, just ask. I've tore my car apart more times than I'd like to remember.

1 question for you. Does the metel still rattle together where you have your mat laid? or does the mat pull it together so its a snug together?

At that point I had no rattles. The mat alone was working just fine at keeping everything held together.

Later that year I sprayed it with some Spectrum to further increase the deadness of the lid.

I also think it gave it a good "finished" look.

Again, less product can be used to achieve the same results (this was before I knew as much as I do now).

Sorry to ask again Jon, but what Butyl textile based compounds would you suggest that are on the cheap end. I'm going to see if I can find 10 sq ft. of whatever you suggest on ebay.

as i said before audio technix. its cheap and pretty close to the same thing as second skin damplifier

Well how much are you looking to spend? That may dictate as to which product would best suite your needs/goal.
