Detachable Face

with flip up screens when you shut the car off the screen folds down and it looks like a single din regular radio and no one would be any wiser. double dins look nicer imo but then ppl will always see what ya got

Pioneer has some doubles with detachable faces.

like the link above? thats the only double ive seen in any way detachable

Didnt see that. Actually yes, thats the one im thinking of. I have two friends that run it. Its a real nice unit.

yea i heard good and bad things...really the only thing is if u forget to hide it its extremly easy to steal and now the person has a gsp unit....and the screen is small for a double din

Another way you could go that ive seen done is to use a cheap double din faceplate, attach some velcro to the top and it covers your headunit from people looking in.
