technics Posted May 22, 2011 Report Share Posted May 22, 2011 hey guys been around for a little bit but first time posting a thread. basically i have 2 dd3510e's with kevlar cones, running of a dds2 amp which has been in for a few months now.. havent had a problem until today where i was playing it and heard a weird scraping noise coming from the back, so i pulled over and had a look. subs werent hot or didnt smell, so i pushed the cones in and there was no rub until i pushed them right in, but one sub seems to rub a bit earlier than the other. i have no idea if this is normal but i turned the music back on and had a listen and there was no signs of coil rub? the subs are run off reccomended power, if anything underpowered and never turned up to where they distort. Could it be the rear speakers just distorting making that sound or what? only happened on one song, a song i play all the time which is why it alarmed me. so i have no idea what the go is with it.. any help would be appreciated as its really stressing me out! thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
