Why do you need to xover at 13k?

Most tweeters want 2k to 5.5k?

i didn't say i need one that goes that high i was just saying the MB quartz goes that high.

I asked if any one knew of any other amps that i could use as a active crossover basically so i would not have to buy a separate active crossover.

My soundstream front ch goes to 4000HZ

how "good" an amplifier is is not dependent on how high/low the filters go....

You would need an amp with a bandpass crossover setting to run active. Like Kranny said, the crossover range has nothing to do with how good an amp is. Like wise, the ability to run active has nothing to do with how good an amp is. I don't know of any amps that have that ability, but I don't really go looking for them either so It is very possible they exist.

So you guys think i will be better off with a active crossover?

An active crossover won't make your component system active. You need to replace your passive crossover with a specific active crossover that has the right settings (ie bandpass settings)
