But you would want to upgrade to 2, 2kw amps to get them really moving but the hdc3s are efficient 2 18s on 2kw will get loud as hell still, assuming your box is built/designed correctly. iKidwell Posted May 27, 2011 Report Share Posted May 27, 2011 you could..after talking to everyone i've talked to i would rather have the level 3's than 4's though..especially after seeing all the money that i'd be saving..if you're doing 18's in an ext cab it's either a blowthrough or wall anyways..if i was you and you were being serious about it I'd either see if rusty would do 3 custom level 3 18's for you (not sure if he would..can't hurt asking) or doing 4 level 3 15's in a wall (which would be a little more than your budget, but in the right enclosure could get fucking rediculous).
