When you do an install for someone and 6 months down the road they fuck up there equipment and blame you the person that installed it. Even though it worked great for 6 months

bestbuy fanboys lol. was in best buy and was checking out there amps n stuff, wastin' time.. was looking at a Type R 12" and guy comes over and starts saying that the Type R's are probably the loudest subs he's ever heard, and i kinda disagreed with him, and he said that he hits 150's with 2 12" Type R's on 1k, windows down, and meter at headrest.. so i asked him if it was termlab, and he said he didnt know cause it was at his buddies house, and it was hand held mic, :S so i told him my 2 15's do 140 on music sealed and he thought my system was shit, hahha gave him a demo and he bailed LOL

lmao that reminded me of a guy who asked me how much i paid for my DCs and then he told me his Type rs retail for 900 but he paid alot less .

then there was another guy who put a tool box in his trunk to make his system rattle more cause it made him seem louder

OH then another guy with an unsealed, by that i mean 3-6 in on the sides and top unsealed, wall with 10 10s flea market brand, mightve been lanzar, facing forward then a wall of 6x9s facing backward.

people that will try to argue you that underpowering damages speakers. here is one guys argument.

It is certainly possible to damage a speaker by underpowering it, Underpowering a speaker is likely to damage the voice coil due to the excess heat created by distortion. This distortion, called clipping, is created when the amp is not able to supply the power demand when the volume is turned up. If you turn the volume up very high without the power to back it up, you'll end up clipping the signal coming out of the amp. The speaker will try to reproduce this clipped signal, and if played under these circumstances for any length of time, the speaker will not last very long. There is a mis-conception that if you're not giving the speaker as much power as it can handle you won't blow it, but that simply is not the case. The only way to really address this problem is to replace your speaker for one with a lower power rating, and a higher SPL rating, or replace your amp with one that better matches the speaker's power handling capability, but the number one cause of speaker damage has nothing to do with power or signal. It is UV damage.
