I also liked bass long before car audio, it was just natural that it went from home audio to a skating rink dj, then to the car when I got my license @ 16.

I remember looking at a really nice Honda CRX (before the rise got popular), and ended up not buying it because my Q-Logic dual 12 bandpass wouldn't fit.... Lol

I got my first system back in 99 2 12" MTX thunder 3000 in a home made plywood truck box in my single cab 91 F150. running of an Audiobahn a2600D. blew like 10 of those subs (I had no idea what i was doing) and teh shop upgraded me to 5000's then 9000's then around 01 i got 2 L7 10s but sold that off when i joined the Navy. and nothign after that... In 2009 I moved from MI to Montana, and my roomate had a small system. so i got into it.. 2 Alpine type-r 12s in a sealed prefab with an alpine 400w. it slammed pretty hard in my 04 imapla and the local shop decided to put me on there team, and from then on my knowledge has exploded!!! I got a new roomie that has 20+years in building and he taught me alot...

and now im saving to do 4 18"BTL in a wall.. Montana has made me into an audiophile...
